Steve Greer’s Award Winning photography

To help celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the National Wildlife Federation, Steve won first place in the pro division of the Nature’s Best International Photography Awards Competition.  The two influential magazines published Steve’s work in a Special Edition issue.

Nearly 12,000 images were submitted to the contest and Steve’s photo won the Pro Division “Other Wildlife category”. To help celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the National Wildlife Federation, Nature’s Best Photography magazine will be publishing a selection of the winning images in the Winter 2007 Special Edition.

Additionally, Steve won the Grand Prize and First Place Awards at the prestigious National Wildlife Annual Photography Competition for four consecutive years.

He has been honored with the distinction of being one of the “Top One Hundred Wildlife Photographers in the World” by Digital Photographer.

He was invited by Canon to be the solo contributor to their prestigious corporate 2010 Calendar.

Steve’s images have been exhibited at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History in Washington DC. and they have been featured in publications including, National Geographic, National Wildlife, Nature’s Best, Audubon, Smithsonian, Photo Life, New York Times, Washington Post, Birder’s World, Field & Stream, Islands, Living Fit, , Outside, Sierra, Esquire.
